European ARC Network All-Hands Meeting 2026
September 21–24, 2026, Bohuslän, Sweden
The Nordic ARC node warmly welcomes you to the 2026 All-Hands Meeting at VANN Spa Hotel & Conference, located in a peaceful coastal setting on the Swedish west coast.
Venue
The meeting will take place at VANN Spa Hotel & Conference, located in the Bohuslän coastal region north of Gothenburg. The venue combines modern conference facilities with access to nature, walking areas, and spa amenities, providing an ideal environment for focused discussions and informal networking. The hotel is situated approximately 1.5 hours from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.
Important: Transportation to and from the Venue
Two buses are planned from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport to Vann Spa Hotel at 14:30 and 18:30 on Monday 21 September 2026. Buses are alsoplanned from Vann Spa Hotel to Gothenburg Landvetter Airport after lunch at 13:30 on Thursday 24 September 2026.
Although it is possible to reach the venue by public transport, we recommend that you take one of the buses arranged by the local organising committee. If, for any reason, you need to travel to the venue by public transport, please be aware of the following warning issued by the regional public transport authority:
The trains between Gothenburg and Strömstad are affected by track work!
The Västtågen trains are cancelled on parts of the Gothenburg–Strömstad route and are being replaced by buses. The reason is track work. This applies from 6 February 2025 to 14 March 2027.

Teamwork/Competition: Mission Completed
The meeting social activity will take place after lunch on Wednesday and conclude before dinner. The planned activity is a team-based competition called Mission Completed. During this activity, we will embark on an adventure filled with fun and movement using a tablet. Icons on the map will reveal a wide range of entertaining questions and challenges, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for everyone.
Mission Completed will allow us to explore the surroundings while encouraging participation and strengthening the connections within the ARC network. Through engaging questions and fun challenges, teams will compete to earn the most points before gathering again to hear the results and crown the winning team.

If you do not plan to participate in the social activity, the venue offers several alternative activities. Please note that these are NOT part of the meeting programme and must be arranged individually at your own expense.
Practical info
In September, the weather in this region of Sweden is typically mild and autumnal, with daytime temperatures around 12–17°C and cooler evenings. Occasional rain is common, so layered clothing and a light waterproof jacket are recommended.

The spa can be used for up to two hours in the mornings (8-13hrs) without prior booking. In the afternoons, however, access must be booked in advance at reception. If you plan to use the spa, please bring swimwear. The venue also has a shop where swimsuits can be purchased.
